Which topics should be covered at a Commissioning Seminar?
My name is Thomas Stuenkel. I’m a German and I’m living in Slovakia.
I’m a free-lance commissioning engineer & commissioning manager in international plant engineering. I commissioned different water treatment plants, petrochemical plants and solar silicon production facilities worldwide on my own or in multicultural commissioning teams.
I have almost 20 years of work experience.
Currently I am developing a commissioning training course for people to get an understanding of the basic techniques of a plant commissioning and start-up process.
The course should be as well a team-building event for the commissioning crew.
If you would join such a commissioning seminar & training course, which topics should be covered and which questions should be answered by the trainer?
Please take five minutes of your valuable time to answer my question at:
Thank you very much for your help.

I am in the process of developing precommissioning and commissioning and PSSR checklists and procedures. Do you know of any training course that will help me. I am from Houston, TX
Hello Makesh,
maybe the course by William H. Tillman and Jerry L McAfee from company “Process Technical Services (PTS)” can help you in this matter. They will run the next process plant start-up course from May 17 – 19, 2011 in Houston, Texas.
You can find more information on their website:

I hope this helps.
All the best
Thomas
